Selena Marie Gomez was born on July 22, 1992. She is best friends with fellow Barney & Friends actress Demi Lovato. You probably know Selena from the Disney Channel hit show, Wizards of Waverly Place. The series started in 2007, and so far has become a big success. Mandy Cornett gave birth to Selena at 16, and her parents divorced in 1997. She was born in New York City, New York. At a young age, she moved from New York to a small town called Grand Prairie, Texas. Selena currently resides in LA, California and is scheduled to have a record coming out this fall
